Caring for others has been part of Cameron’s story for most of his life.

At just seven years old, Cameron was diagnosed with leukemia. During his recovery, he experienced firsthand how life-changing physical therapy could be. The therapists who helped him regain his strength inspired a lifelong passion for helping others do the same.

That experience ultimately led him to become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, where he has spent more than ten years providing direct patient care, including seven years specializing in physical therapy across senior living communities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and skilled nursing.

While working at one of Southwest Florida’s premier senior living communities, Cameron served as a first responder for medical emergencies. Over the course of his career there, he responded to more than 400 emergency calls, giving him invaluable experience recognizing fall risks, promoting safety, and educating older adults on strategies to maintain their independence and prevent injuries.

Cameron later was part of the opening rehabilitation team at the Cape Coral location of Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital, where he worked alongside an exceptional team to build one of the area’s leading inpatient rehabilitation programs. Today, he continues serving patients through home health therapy, where he believes healing happens best—in the comfort and familiarity of home. By working with individuals in their own environment, he is able to create personalized solutions that fit their daily routines and help them remain confident and independent.

Throughout his career, Cameron has remained committed to treating every individual with the dignity, patience, and compassion they deserve. After witnessing firsthand that not every healthcare setting provided the level of respect and personalized care patients should receive, he became determined to create something different.

That vision became Home Team Concierge.

Together with his wife, Cameron founded Home Team Concierge to provide compassionate, dependable, non-medical support that allows older adults to remain safely in their homes while giving families the peace of mind that their loved ones are cared for as if they were part of our own family.

Nicole Ballard brings a unique combination of healthcare experience, leadership, and compassionate service to Home Team Concierge. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the healthcare system while ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Nicole’s journey into healthcare began in high school, where she completed a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and developed an early passion for caring for others. She later continued her education in Healthcare Administration, building a strong foundation in both patient care and healthcare operations.

Early in her career, Nicole served as the Administrative Assistant to many different healthcare directors serving the community. Working closely with leadership, she gained valuable insight into coordinating care for residents in both independent and assisted living, while witnessing firsthand the importance of communication, organization, and compassionate support.

After taking time away from her career to become a stay-at-home mother, Nicole returned to healthcare with an even greater appreciation for serving families. She worked at a pediatric therapy clinic, where she quickly advanced from the front desk into insurance eligibility, billing, and administrative operations, helping families navigate the often-complex healthcare process.

Nicole later joined a local healthcare company beginning as a receptionist in one of the organization’s busiest pediatric offices. Her dedication and leadership quickly earned promotions to Patient Data Coordinator, then Care Coordinator, and ultimately Department Manager of Care Coordinators. In her leadership role, she oversees care coordination, supports her team, and works to improve communication and patient access across the organization and community.

As Co-Founder of Home Team Concierge, Nicole oversees client care, scheduling, communication, and daily operations. She believes that exceptional service begins long before the first visit—with listening, thoughtful planning, and making every family feel heard, respected, and supported.

Nicole is currently continuing her education toward a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and her passion for building a company rooted in excellence, integrity, and compassionate care.
